- Before:
- A template site, hacked, with the catalog down.
- After:
- Its own catalog, fast on mobile, with direct quotes.
The problem
The previous site was a WordPress install packed with plugins. It got hacked: outsiders took over the site and visitors saw malicious content when they arrived.
The catalog kept going down and the trucks disappeared. Worse, 20 quote requests came in without anyone getting the alert: customers lost without anyone knowing. And any change, like adding a truck or a photo, depended on someone else.
The solution
A new website of its own, built for people shopping for a truck on their phone: catalog by type and brand, a page for each model with gallery and spec sheet, and quotes over WhatsApp with the message already written for that model. Sharing a truck on WhatsApp or Facebook shows its photo, and old Marketplace links still work.
For the business, a private admin panel: add and edit trucks with live preview, reorder them by dragging, track every quote on a status board and see today's to-dos. With "Fill with AI", the panel prepares a prompt for any assistant and turns its answer into the product fields.
The result
Taleon Motors now sells through its own website, with no plugins, on its main domain. The catalog grew from 16 to 21 published models across two brands, and the sales team maintains it from the panel.
Every quote is saved first and always triggers an alert: no customer gets lost silently anymore.

- Pull-based deployment with automatic rollback: the server checks on GitHub that the commit passed CI, backs up the database, migrates, switches versions and rolls back on its own if the new one doesn't respond.
- Rollback never restores the database, so no quote is ever lost; that's why migrations are additive only.
- Content-addressed images (SHA-256) in four WebP variants, served with immutable caching.
- Failure-proof quotes: saved before the email is sent, with honeypot, Turnstile and rate limiting; every status change is kept in a history.
- SEO migration: 34 single-hop 301 redirects from the old URLs, JSON-LD per model and a sitemap.
